🔐 MATERIAL SAFETY INFORMATION
At CycleCore, safety is more than policy — it’s built into every step of our value recovery process. We promote clear material handling knowledge for all our partners to ensure compliant, efficient, and safe recycling.
Explore the material types below to better understand how they’re processed and what precautions are taken.
📱 Grade E, F, BER & DOA Devices
These devices are often misdiagnosed, economically unrepairable, or otherwise unsellable.
Battery Safety: All units are treated as potential battery risks and handled with care.
Labeling: Devices must be labeled clearly to prevent confusion during processing.
Storage: Kept in non-conductive, fire-safe bins until triage.
🔧 LCD & OLED Screen Assemblies
Displays are valuable but fragile.
Risk: Potential cracked glass, sharp edges, or screen flex damage.
Handling: All displays are handled with ESD-safe tools and sorted by condition.
Note: OLEDs are handled differently than older LCDs due to lamination and burn-in concerns.
🧺 eWaste (General)
Includes miscellaneous damaged parts and unusable components.
Includes: Bent flexes, broken ICs, dead boards, or unknown model parts.
Segregation: Separated by type and final destination (reuse, recovery, or disposal).
Disposition: Managed responsibly via certified downstream vendors.
